Personal “blanding” is killing your personal brand

You don't like bland food or conversations or friends.

Pass the Cholula. Right?

Where's the hot sauce for your personal brand?

I'm not kidding. Professional blanding is happening all OVER the place. Everyone sounds vanilla. Dullness abounds. It's like the only thing left in the kitchen is peanut butter and jelly.

You know what I'm talking about.

Leadership coaches. Strategists. Designers. Financial Analysts. Creative Directors. Business consultants. Founders. Investors.

Yawn. 😴

The difference between personal branding and personal blanding is this- FLAVOR.

A personal brand is tasty, delightful, alive, vibrant, and plenty spicy. Like 🔥🔥🔥 hoooottt- in all the good ways.

Your personal brand is about what makes you different and unique. It's your story about you, and that story does not consist of vanilla- (okay maybe last year was vanilla, so skip last year).

The solution to being bland is simple. Figure out your hybridity.

Your hybridity is where all your tastiest flavors collide and make you stand out in the workforce. People are attracted to delicious, flavorful, rich, and decadent dishes--why are you hiding in the plain jane lane?!! That restaurant is going out of business.

So, drop the bland and find your brand!

Spread the word. Share this with ONE friend who needs a little "hint, hint" that they're a bit too vanilla.
